Why are the photo previews do not display correctly in KFlickr?

KFlickr uses your global KDE settings to display preview images. Chances are that the setting used by KDE to process previews is too low for the size of photos you are loading in KFlickr. In order to increase this value edit the Maximum File Size parameter found in the Previews & Meta-data configuration page in the Konqueror configuration panel.

4.2.

Why is KFlickr giving me connection errors?

This is usually due to the fact that you are attempting to connect through a proxy server and have not setup your global KDE proxy server settings. In order to setup your connection properly edit the settings found on the Proxy configuration page in the Konqueror configuration panel.

4.3.

Why is KFlickr giving me connection errors as soon as I start it?

KFlickr attempts to retrieve user information from Flickr when it first starts such as available bandwidth and user tags. Should your computer not be connected to the Internet or experiencing network problems KFlickr will report connection errors. You may continue to use KFlickr even after receiving the errors however you will notice some data, such as you Flickr tags, will be missing and it will still be necessary to establish a connection to the Internet before attempting to upload the photos.
